rhylli have decided that next year i will have a pagan solstice festival, with no naughty capitalist consumerism or leftover christianity. it will be more fun!
also: my but i love melbourne! trams! food! trams!
i've been spending a lot more time by myself here, which is nice. last night i did some painting, and some journalling (on paper!), and some collating of information. other people were watching tv, which i discovered i have gone quite off. and today i have the whole day to myself. i may buy a comb, and perhaps some envelopes.
my favourite bit about yesterday was when we went to the park and played with the frisbees. and the frisbees kept getting stuck high up in the trees so i got to climb up and get them down. i can climb trees very well! i will put it on my cv!
in other news: spending time with people who aren't my New Best Friends from the Internet (TM) [including some Old Best Friends from the Internet, like eve and mr wolf] makes me appreciate anew how excellent you guys are. Other People want to do boring things, like tell drinking stories and watch tv and talk about wine. i keep wandering if Other People would perhaps like to play games where we draw pictures or write things or talk about Cool Stuff, but then i realise that they are Other People and not New Best Friends from the Internet (TM), and i put away my paper and think about penguins instead.
not that Other People aren't pleasant to be around - it is all very nice, but just not quite the same.
ok. now i should stop using the internet for frivolity, and go do some stuff. like buy a comb, perhaps.
