just about bored of being sick

technically, i should be getting a lot of work done. or a lot of something done. because all i'm doing is hanging around the house being mopey, and i don't have distracting tv. radio is not the same, although it is pleasant to knit to.

i am getting very old. i got laughed at last night, when i pulled out my knitting. and i wasn't even listening to radio national and knitting while i drank tea! i think if the government or aliens or someone was spying on me late at night, they would be disappointed by my lack of crazy bachelor lifestyle. (living alone vaguely makes me feel like i should be getting takeaways all the time, and drinking, and having sex. but it might mess the place up, you know?)

hmm. maybe i'll go work on that proposal thingy now.

It's funny how much little stuff needs to be done, when there's an impending deadline. "OH, look at that glass. That should be five centimetres further to the right. No, wait. I'll move it back a little bit. Maybe a smidge more to the right..."

funny you should say that. last night i decided it was clearly the time to unpack all my books, and put them on my bookshelf. despite not having any bookends.

my lounge is inconveniently piled with books.

I guess you had better go buy some book ends. And then arrange and rearrange your bookshelf. Especially if there's a deadline looming. :)
