just about bored of being sick

rhylltechnically, i should be getting a lot of work done. or a lot of something done. because all i'm doing is hanging around the house being mopey, and i don't have distracting tv. radio is not the same, although it is pleasant to knit to.
i am getting very old. i got laughed at last night, when i pulled out my knitting. and i wasn't even listening to radio national and knitting while i drank tea! i think if the government or aliens or someone was spying on me late at night, they would be disappointed by my lack of crazy bachelor lifestyle. (living alone vaguely makes me feel like i should be getting takeaways all the time, and drinking, and having sex. but it might mess the place up, you know?)
hmm. maybe i'll go work on that proposal thingy now.
