well, i am quite the little ball of low-grade irritation at the moment.

and much of it seems to be focused on...well, those i can only describe as peripheral-kind-of-friends. people who are kind of on the edge of being friends, were once or people i never quite got there with or whatever. and i keep feeling disappointed and uncomfortable with (some, not all, of) them, in the tiny interactions that pop up. it's odd and unfair, and i do not like this part of my head.

also, i watched sin city last night. it was excellent, although as d and l (who we bumped into before the movie) put it, much of the dialogue sounds very....comic book.

increasingly, i think i really want to do more weapons training. something that i could feasibly have access to, and use.

is there cause for concern?

Not at all! Melee weapons are merely extensions of the body. Learning to control them is an art.
