plodding towards academic achievement

rhyllwell, i sent jie my chapter outline yesterday. no reply yet - which makes me nervous, as i have more than a sneaking suspicion that it's a load of complete bollocks.
apparently, one cannot plan a 40,000 word thesis based entirely on some ideas you thought would be 'kind of interesting', a heap of reading on a completely different topic, and case studies based on half a day of research each.
of course, i may be wrong, but i suspect not.
in somewhat related news - instead of working last night, i got back from capoeira, fed my fish, fed myself, and then just read myself into a brain-candy induced haze. and then i went to bed, and slept a warm and uncomplicated sleep.
