I am in Newcastle! I went on a bus and another bus and a plane and then a train and another train! I feel like such an adventurer. Today I have been mostly looking at the cool projects to regenerate Newcastle with little indie shops. I saw Tyrannasaurus Rex: an exhibition concerning dinosaurs! I chatted to people about bicycles and upcycling and sewing little books out of paper! It has been nice, so far. Most exciting: sunshine! I think all of the gloomy days have been making me sooky.

I am a little nervous about the conference because I'm not sure exactly how to structure my presentation to fit the panel's topic, and because one of my examiners will be there. Eep.

I'm sure it will be fine, though.

hellooooo! all of that sounds lovely!
we had funtimes in the park outside jessigrug's house today, there were lots of biscuits and i went on a swing and let me just say that when you come back there are going to be a lot more ukuleles around than before you left!
