yesterday's excitement

Since everyone keeps giving me treat-money, I bought myself the Coolest Thing Ever yesterday. It's a radio, made mostly out of wire and old soft-drink cans. Of course the important bits are the circuit board and the speakers (which are exposed, which I love), and the rest is just radio-shaped decoration.

It's definitely my new favourite thing ever, and I'm looking forward to cycling around Perth with it hanging from my handlebars.

Luckily, I have a new favourite slang ever to go with it: "hectic", to mean "cool" (or "really in" as all teens worldwide now seem to be saying, using some kind of global dissemination of groupthink that I don't quite understand).

My radio is really hectic, man.
