Contact details and such
Jan. 15th, 2007 10:04 pmFinally found somewhere to stay in Nairobi! I'll be at the Methodist Guest House from the 17th until the 28th(ish)... it sounds a little odd but the website looks relatively normal, so hopefully all shall be fine.
I was pleasantly surprised to get a reply from a post I sent to the Ubuntu forums about something else (I've been mucking about with some new programs a bit) offering a place to stay. I'd like to have taken them up, but it sounds as though they were already hosting quite a few people. Aren't people lovely? (Also: the internets!)
GREEK FAMILY: Can someone please send me contact details for Helen, or perhaps one of her family that use email? I'm trying to work out the RSA trip and I think Cape Town sounds least scary. I want to see if there's some way I can see Helen in a minimally-traumatising way.
In other news: set up a "myresearchspace" page today, which currently has next to nothing on it. I'm thinking of moving my more themed rants there, and keeping this for journally stuff. Also will have papers available for download (when I get around the writing them), probably with extensive apologia attached.
And I learn how to format and rename a flash drive! Hurrah!
