rhylljob interview today. ergh. despite the manager's beguiling scottish accent i will turn down the offer to sell my soul and do direct marketing on commission. (the final hint came when he said...oh...and if you'll just sign this...yup, that'll need to be in your blood, actually...)
plus, a big long chat with my dad that helped a shitload.
he told me some things about his family that made me sad. i want to yell at his older brother.
and i was talking about big decisions, and saying that things were too complicated for me. and he asked 'complicated, or just *hard*?' and i think something clicked. i think.
and he suggested i go over east before starting postgrad stuff and have a break and visit family. which sounds excellent.
and i went to my first women's capoeira lesson. i spent a long time trying to do things with bits of my stomach muscles. hmm. new challenge. they are recalcitrant.
as for other news of the day. well. if i think much more my head will explode.
