We just ate at a Malaysian restaurant, and one of the dishes we had was 'paru', which was chewy and kind of meaty...maybe some kind of mushroom.
It was not fun.
Neither were the weird bean things in it.
I made Liz eat one, just so she wouldn't cry later about how much of a coward she is.
Liz says that if paru is "something gross" we don't want to know about it. But we do.
