a strange desire for graphic novels

..which is what i've been reading for large sections of today. everything that the library (where i'm currently updating from, and which, inexplicably, seems to have no web-site) has. even the really crap things, like dave gemmell's 'wolf in shadows'. fuck that was awful.
hey! you out there! write me good graphic novels! with strong female characters and beautiful language and illustration, and inspiring politicised storylines. yeah. go out and write it now.
also, i wanted to rant about the treatment given to pride versus reclaim the night, but i don't think i have time. the library shuts soon and i have to go teach now.
oh. they're ringing the little bell.
