OMG STUFF

I'm pretty excited about the movement of Things through our household. I've been throwing stuff out, which pleases me, and also acquiring new things. Yesterday I went to Fremantle and bought some new shirts and stuff at an op-shop, which hopefully will mean that I can stop staring at my clothes every morning in horror at the fact that I have no suitable summer clothes. Today Kale took me to the big recycling depot out in Balcatta and I bought some little cupboards so that I can tidy up the area around my desk, and also some chairs for our back yard.

I am so excited about our backyard right now, and its pretty dappled sunlight. You guys. You should come sit in the back yard with me and drink tea.

(Secretly, I also bought some plates from the recycling depot, because I want all of our plates to be colourful and ugly. Don't tell J.)

(Also, I tell you these things so you can stop thinking 'oh sky, she's such a hippy'. Now you know I am terribly materialistic! Stuff!)

J's penguin has, surprisingly, survived and is still in his regular spot, watching majestically over all of this nesting.

I am excited about the world today. Yesterday I went to Fremantle, and among many other pleasant things someone left stickynotes on my bike saying "You're amazing!" and "Keep smiling!" Today I am going to tidy and write cards and cycle places, and it's going to be great.

Yay, stuff.
Yay, Fremantle. It really was lovely.
Yay, tea. I like the drinking of tea, especially in pretty back yards.
Yay, for lovely sticky notes. Fremantle really is full of nice people.
