I am finding today, and several other things, a little difficult. It seems like a good time to jump on the gratitude journal bandwagon. There are many things I'm grateful for!

1. Last night I saw my Greek family properly for the first time since I got back (Happy Birthday, Giagia!). It was so good to see them all, and lovely that my uncle organised the dinner. Thank you, Uncle! Thank you, family!
2. The jasmine is flowering in the garden. Jasmine is my favourite flower - my mother loves it, and I always try to plant some in each place I live. In Karnataka, they sell bunches of it for women to plait into their hair. Thank you, garden!
3. The morning was so cool today, it was lovely to spend some time watering the garden and cycling in to uni. Thank you, weather!
4. I have a meeting with my supervisor today, and I'm rather pleased that today I've sent him some work, and written an introduction/outline for my final chapter (which I always find hard). Work has been going reasonably well - yesterday I read over my last few chapters, and while there's still a lot do be done I at least have some sense of what needs doing. Thank you, supervisor! Thank you, Saraswathi, Minerva, or any other learning-gods around!
5. I started revising my Greek vocabulary this morning, in preparation for classes starting next week. I'm finding the software very helpful. Thank you, maintainers of Parley!

The last couple of mornings I've been practicing some meditation exercises. Hopefully once I get better at them I will fret a little less.
