Not dead

My talk yesterday went well. There were above 20 people there, which was a good number, and they seemed interested in what I had to say. Patrick Bond from the University of KwaZulu Natal wins bonus points for citing me four times in his speech, which immediately followed mine.

I feel very young here. There are a lot of suits, and the people "my age" who I'm hanging around are mostly in their late 20s and early 30s. It's all rather odd.

The conference has been fairly good so far. Twenty minute speeches don't allow much time, though.
