kalgoorlie!
Nov. 21st, 2004 08:22 pmwhoot!
the bus up was truly horrible. but so far it's been worth it.
some stuff i've got to do:
play boggle (ok, so this is not very kalgoorlie-specific)
go to an art gallery opening (but we sloped off after ten minutes because we were bored of speeches)
run around the museum with baka and the marxist showing them around and seeing all the stuff that's changed since i used to hide there in highschool.
argue with the marxist about whether postmodernism necessarily fractures attempts at social change.
and hear the marxists' stories about when she was my age.
and go out dancing! there were skimpies and lovely miss panda, and baka shook his booty for hours on end, and we kept dancing until the r&b started and even tried to push through that for a while. (it was so damn fun. i can't believe i don't go dancing more often. i should definitely dance more often with baka and miss panda.)
and i'm feeling better about fucking up my honours exam, and the fact that postgrad work is now not going to be an option. i'm very sure that i want a break from uni, and time to do dance classes and bike mechanic stuff.
i'm still a little upset about all my relationship confusion. worrying that i'm too crazy to have relationships and maybe it would be better for all concerned if i just try not to have any. but these are things i will only think about in tiny little batches, otherwise my head will explode.
oh! and today we went to the boulder markets, and i bought a damn big spanner so i can do things to my crank shaft. (i am pleased.)
ok! time to get off the internet!
