Fun facts about today

rhyllActually, just one, since all I did today was read about "Peasants' movement in Karnataka 1980 - 1994", and I'm not sure how fun you guys would find that.
Today was Saraswati's day! She is goddess of knowledge, and so there is a little room for Her here (most Indian houses seem to have a small room with a shrine and pictures of the gods that the family particularly favours). When I went to get lunch everyone was upstairs, doing pooja and eating chats. Or maybe eating chats is doing pooja? I am not sure. It is kind of nifty. I think she can be my goddess of choice.
