rhyllso, london. i know i should be more shocked. it is dreadful, i know.
but, have you looked at what's happening in the sudan?
i care about people dying in london. but the west's prosperity and safety has relied on fucking over much of the third world. and we haven't stopped. and it's hard to see bombs in london as any more horrifying than the fact that indigenous people in australia have a life expectancy about 20 years less than that of the rest of the population. or that we're doing fuck all about the sudan. or any of the other myriad of atrocities happening every day all over the world.
i worry a little, that there's something wrong with me. because even if it's irrational, i think i should be more shocked by the bombings in london.
ergh. i think i have babbled incoherently about this topic for long enough.
on a less meaningful note:
drinking games with mr wolf and nick-with-no-alias-as-yet was fun. especially since it was josie and the pussycats drinking games, and involved silly amounts of dancing. and we had a picnic on the living room floor, listening to dresden dolls.
i want to be more productive, but i think i'm moderately happy with my life right now.
