Well, the repositories are finally up for Open Office 3, so I installed it and the Zotero plugins this morning. But I'm guessing it might be more interesting if I post about what I did last night, rather than my deep ambivalence towards the use of referencing software.
So, anyway, I don't go see live music very often. I feel awkward, not knowing where to stand, and my body starts screaming at me after a while. Plus, I have never really got the hang of loving music with the intensity that seems to be required for live music. Nevertheless, the Mountain Goats are one of the bands that I love deeply, possibly because the stories in the songs and the poetry of the lyrics connect with me.
So, I am doing a band-love post, a la liz.
( Apologies: these are probably not the best videos out there, but I am working on limited time (see previous entries re: thesis of doom) and on rather crappy Internet )
