I've had some work-time, which has been good. I feel a bit less like I'm seeing the world through cotton wool, and I'm looking forward to feeling more engaged with and excited about my research. I'm trying to get more enthusiastic about my chapter editing, but also pushing myself to think about where I want my research to go next.

People-time has also been good. It's been nice hanging out with Liz and Tim again, and Sunday-games was lovely, and I have been having some very pleasant coffeesnacks with Kale. His story about the mongoose-monster is my new favourite story! And last night I saw Kyle, and managed not to be too stern with him, and rather enjoyed talking about work-questions with him and eating delicious Indian food.

Not much else to report, I guess. Last night we learnt more grammar at Greek. As well as the accusative and nominative cases, there's also the genitive (for ownership) and the vocative (for calling someone). In the vocative, if a noun is masculine, and ends in 'ος', and has three or more syllables, the ending changes to 'ε'. That seems a little silly.
