Things I Like, in random order

1. Awesome, steampunk workspaces
2. Uni friends. On Tuesday we went out for lunch together, and while we were eating K started making a phonecall to an absent friend...and once she was on the line she told all of us her big news. I like that she wanted to tell us all at the same time.
3. All my other friends, who I have been appreciating all the more lately. Raj and Jyothi called me at my office a couple of days ago and left me grinning and missing them for the rest of the day. The Internets, who I am all excited about seeing on Saturday. And writing this I realise there are a heap of people I haven't caught up with in ages who I'm looking forward to seeing (hi, Eva! hi, everyone!), which is not really my usual state of affairs.
4. Chavela Vargas.
5. Craft, which I have been in the mood for all week and is my mission for today, in between some Fixing of my article.
6. Feeling like my mother and I are intrepid explorers.
7. Hot, frothy milk spiced with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. It is my new favourite breakfast.
