thesis: argh
Aug. 3rd, 2006 03:11 pmI've been trying to restructure my first couple of chapters, and having some problems.
Part of the problem is that it feels like I just have a great big bag of stuff that is kind of interesting - or that I thought it was important to mention - but it doesn't really seem to boil down to a central argument in any particularly useful way.
And now I have a new idea. I thought maybe I would just take all the arguments that I have with people, and write a thesis about that. Basically: the world-system needs to be changed, and it needs to be changed in these ways, and here's how the global justice movement is going about it, and here are the areas that it needs to improve on, and by the way, you are responsible for all this, too.
1) Is this a good idea?
2) Could I make it all original and shiny, do you think?
