Ask the Internet, #439:
Right. I'm sure I'm doing something stupid again, but I can't seem to get this to work. I'm trying to open a pdf (specifically, the final conference program from this page), and I can't work out how to do it.
Ah. Further levels of difficultly. My computer appears not to be very enthusiastic about making sound. It has two built-in speakers, which put out very very faint noises. I've tried plug-in speakers and headphones, and have only managed to get very soft sound from both. (Although I'm fairly sure that a couple of days ago it was working far better.) I've tried going into the control panel and mucking about with sound levels and so on, and it hasn't done much.
Ideas?
In other news:
ow! no more period pain, but I appear to have done something awful to my shoulder. I am not pleased!
Edit: Wheee! My presentation will be at 4:30 on July the 10th.
eep.
