stupid internet
Nov. 4th, 2004 09:02 pmit's so damn slow today. making me realise how inconvenient it is having four email addresses and a few sites that i get jittery if i'm away from for a couple of days.
life's very up and down right now. i feel bad a lot of the time, because i'm worried about people i care about being sad, and i'm worried about what i'm going to do next year, and the US and Australian elections are going to depress me more when I sit down and think about them.
two good things i want to hang on to:
H. coming up to me at capoeira and telling me i have a very 'feminine' jinga that 'flows well' and is 'cute'. ok, so i'm somewhat ambivalent about it. but since i suck so much at capoeira i'm taking what validation i can.
i went to women in black yesterday for the first time in ages. it was excellent. they're all such amazing women, and we had plenty of good support, and a couple of new faces, and a few more women who said they want to start coming. and we went for tea afterwards and talked about politics and realationships and i was struck for about the billionth time by how much i want to be as interesting and strong as they are.
