Life continues weird

Dinesh, Kavita and Venkatesh have all been quite lovely in terms of giving me some work to do and calling me 'intern' a lot (which apparently means a lot of free coffee). Of course, most of the tasks that I've been given (like designing shirts and editing the wiki for the TGC workshop) are things that I have no idea how to do. So I feel a bit like a kid given the cake-bowl to stir, but am having a lot of fun anyway.

Got up at six this morning to drop Venkatesh off at the airport, and then D, K and I went for a walk along the beach. Minor detours to take photos of the titanium-oxide-heavy (?) effluent that a chemical plant there dumps straight into the sea - a greeny-blue colour, a bad smell, and it was steaming. Talked to some of the fishermen there...lots of guys who go off to Dubai and other places to work. D volunteered me to play capoeira, which seems to be the intern-task that I can currently achieve most ably.

Also went to TechPark here to have a look at Some Stuff, and discovered there was a Barcamp there on Saturday that none of us knew about.

And now I am really, really, tuckered out.

wiki-editing is awesome, i usually throw one up at every workplace i'm at, and use it for informal internal documentation. processes and little tips and stuff so people don't bother me with the same questions over and over again :P

you've no doubt found em, but these links give you a good overview

tho srsly, learn headings, bold, italics, code (two spaces at the start of a line), table of contents and basic tables and you'll be able to do 99% of things and make your wiki look awesome while you're there :)

Thanks :) I also think wikis are pretty awesome, but I've only just started playing with them (I made my first wikipedia edit a couple of weeks ago and felt very proud).

I just kind of worked stuff out by looking at some of the other pages, but I think there are a few things I've missed so I'll have a look at those links.
