just looked up more stuff on buju banton and shabba ranks, since they were singing a song i was listening to. came to the unavoidable decision that they were just too nastily homophobic to be on my listening-list...not that i'd know, since the song was in rather fast patois and i couldn't understand any of it. still. deleted.

i want to find some feminist (or otherwise nifty) dub/dancehall. i suspect i shall have no luck.

Lady Sov is definitely more hip-hop/grime so I'm inclined to agree she probably isn't what Sky is looking for. Also, I already lent her MIA's Arular, so she's got the best record from the above genre anyway.
