Internet: please help (Vol 63)

1) Is there anywhere in Perth that will accept mobile phones, batteries, and other electronic Stuff for recycling?

2) I would quite like to give away some books! If you'd like books (to read and release) why not look over my available books and make a request? I am quite happy to post stuff out/leave it in a nook somewhere, for extra excitement. I shall also, over coming days, be attempting to register a heap of books.

books! hmm that website looks interesting. you seem to be quite a fan of douglas coupland, may i ask if you have read his latest novel ("jPod")? i almost bought it yesterday. it looks even nerdier than microserfs, while looking through it i saw that it had like 20 pages of prime numbers... he's overdoing it a little maybe. : )

I haven't read jPod yet, although hopefully I'll get my hands on it at some stage. He does seem to get quite excited about technology and so on...

1- Consider taking a look around uni; you'll probably find that the IT department has a recycling programme. At worst, you'll get to walk around your pretty campus for a bit and (possibly) feel a bit disillusioned with the university's environment people. Then there's always the option of asking hobos...
