Yesterday I was irritable for no clear reason. Today I slammed my finger in a drawer and had to listen to a rather vague seminar on the adoption of direct democracy initiatives in the US around the early 20th century.

I feel somewhat justified in my decision to waste time last night reading english relationship humour and watching Black Books. I was amused to discover that the 'heatwave' they suffer from in the episode where Manny gets Dave's Syndrome reaches up to a full 35 degrees.

Also: yesterday had additional pleasant bits, with cycling and the the Hatched exhibition and sushi. It was nice to have some time to relax with my young man, despite high levels of background stress.

Additionally: I am pleased that capoeira was fun on wednesday night, and that I was brave enough to lead the singing for a while, and that I managed to play berimbau for twenty minutes or so without my little finger falling off. Now I ache.

If you have a hurty finger, then you are allowed to do whatever the hell you want. THE END.

Thank you. That's what I think.

Also: would you like to join me for
a) lunch, and
b) swing dancing?

I'm in the computer lab trying to work, so I am not allowed to go out for lunch. But we will be in the Tav after 3pm to play Boggle and drink beer and you are most welcome to join us.

I may well do that. Maybe around 4ish or so.

Studies have shown that goldfish actually have memories closer to three months than three seconds.
