(no subject)

my computer monitor at work makes a high-pitches whining noise.
does anyone have a potential solution, or a monitor that will not send me slowly insane?
either would be greatly appreciated.

Well I did have an ok monitor but i replaced it because the edges sometimes went blurry and it irritated me.. so i suppose that doesnt help.. but a monitor is something you can keep for a looong time, A very nice flat screen (not LCD just not a goldfish bowl) monitor 17" costs about 170$ now, bit pricey but really really nice once you are using it. I dont actually know what happened to the old monitor that sometimes went blurry, if you are interested I can look around for it.. but i "think" it got turfed.

i'll ask around, and then if noone has one about i might just buy one. not sure about getting a good one, though, since i have every intention of giving away as much of my stuff as i can in a few months.

mind you, i suppose having a nice monitor might make it more likely someone will want to take it off my hands.

The fishbowl ones cost 130-140 for 17" curved screen its still not a "disposable" price though.
