Marshmellow peep fight, ukelele

So, I can't remember who I watched 'Marshmellow peep fight' with, agesandagesago, but I suspect that it was not any of you, dear readers. Anyway, if you've seen it, you might understand why this tickles me:

Also, in response to Liz's injunctions to ukelele pride: I am learning the ukelele. I really suck at it. Yesterday I tried to find a song with chords in it that I could play, and I managed! I turns out I can totally play all the chords in Both Hands, and I know the song pretty well. So I thought maybe I would try to play along. Disaster! Turns out I am not very good at just going strumstrumstrumstrumregularrhythmstrumstrumregularrhythm. Guess I will have to practice for more than a day, huh?

I'm pretty excited about it!

PS. ARGH! I AM GIVING A LECTURE TODAY OHHHNOOOOO! (luckily I do not need to play ukele during the lecture, though. Or accordion. But still!)

i think your lectures would be even better with intermissions of you playing "song 1" and giggling!

"So now we come to the end of the first section of the lecture. I hope that you're all clear on the difference between NGOs, social movements, and transnational social movements. Now, let me play you song 1 from book 1. It's about baseball!"
