Updates!
* I enrolled in the Greek exam. My Greek teacher called me up and told me that he'd decided I should go for it, so: decision made! This will mean a lot of work...we went over part of a past paper last lesson, and I could understand very little of it. My vocabulary is quite small, and does not include words like "knight" and "plains".
* My thesis continues to go slowly, but I'm making some progress.
* Teaching is getting better. However, all of my students seem to think that we live in the best of all possible worlds, and there are no alternatives to liberal democracy. I am unsure how to respond to this, other than to encourage their critical thinking.
* My writing for ActNow is going well, I think. I got a commission last week, which I just handed in, and have another special commission that I need to write by Friday.
* Bits and pieces are happening for Bluestocking, and I have been writing on our blog now and then.
* Life at Cooper st is going well. We've redecorated and rearranged, and I feel much more settled.
