Like a bee
The last few days (even possibly the last few weeks) have been pretty busy. What with trying to write a case study while I research it (and figure out what the topic is), plus fretting about my upcoming lectures (2 weeks, 5 days left), plus finding a heap of books that I absolutely must read right now, uni has been full of work rather than staring at the wall feeling like the whole thesis is doomed.
Plus, there's been all this time with people. I am still in the process of working out how to approach that. The weekend was lovely - lots of time with my mother's family, including some hanging around in King's Park being awed by how wonderful the flowers were.
It would have been nice to see my father, since I really enjoy time with him lately and we're getting on splendidly, but he is in Turkey.
And then this week was a heap of stuff all around uni:
Monday - went to capoeira, felt absolutely terrible afterwards and had to collapse in bed with sore eyes and my nose streaming.
Tuesday - managed to wake up well! And babysat Amaya at night. I win at babies - Amaya was absolutely besotted with me all evening, and ignored everyone else. Also, after she fell asleep I hung around with L-from-the-ThinkTank, which was nice in a kind of depressing way (she's a bit upset about relationship stuff right now).
Wednesday - greek and Cirque du Soleil.
I am getting more and more excited about Greek. Today I typed up some vocabulary lists, and practiced some verbs, and printed out my greek keyboard layout so that I can get better at typing with it. Plus also I started the whole process of getting Greek citizenship. It was my day for consulates, since I went to the Indian one for my visa.
I'm getting a bit babblesome (it is a word now, thank you), so I might wander over to my other blog and put some stuff up there.
BUT also: this Sunday is paraquad! Be warned!
