meeting liz's demands

Guilt
What is yours?
Explain yourself
Culinary: Salmon I could eat it by the bucket. (Guilt due to 1. decadence, 2. apparently it's bad for the environment? 3. killing things.)
Literary: Rereading things I have already discovered are delicious. Comfort reading? (Guilt: there are so many things to be read! Why reread? But sometimes it is necessary.)
Audiovisual: I watch some bad sitcoms here. Sometimes the days are too hard for me to keep Thinking and Doing all waking hours. (Guilt: wasting my time.)
Musical: I do not listen to as much music as I would like. (Guilt: music is pretty nifty, and often beautiful.)
Celebrity: I have a fierce hatred for Angelina Jolie and almost everything she stands for. (Guilt: I do not like to have such tremendous irritation so very focused at someone so irrelevant. I would prefer to ignore her like the rest of them.)

to complete this same Quiz, Its HERE.

My favourite things:
* Busy days where I get to do lots of "tick: done"s.
* Cooking for friends, when it works out well.
* Learning or Doing with people.
* Bicycles, and anything to do with bicycles.
* Books, and anything to do with books.
* Nifty activism/cooperation/sharing/environmental things that people are doing around the place.
* Growing things, especially marigolds and herbs.
* Haikus.
* Arguing with people, especially if I manage to shake their world view.
* Art (including music, and paintings, and comics, and writing) that makes me go " !" and I want to pop because it is so amazing and I don't know what to do about it.
* Outside, and especially the bits of it that are trees and wind.
* Friends who make me not so scared of people.
* Family who make me feel so loved sometimes I worry that I will never be able to show it enough.
* Being looked after every day, even from across the world, by somebody who is wonderful and special and amazes me everyday.

Maybe I should stop, because you may already have diabetes, just from reading those last bits.

Also, how nifty are these treehouses? (The answer is: very.) I think living in a treehouse would be about as cool as living on a boat. It reminded me of a cool post I saw a while ago, on little spherical treehouse-modules. While I was looking for the site, I found this treehouse guide, which would be pretty helpful if any of you wanted to build a treehouse. For example.

It reminds me of the building-your-own-crazy-hippy-houses books that my parents owned, which I used to love looking through (and subsequently 'liberated' when I left home). I like remembering that the me-that-I-am-now is still excited about the same things as the little thing I used to be, spending hours looking at earthen dwellings with moss roofs, and different garden designs, and bright, interesting rooms for children.
